DURHAM, N.C. – Duke concluded its 2016-2017 season the way head coach Jamie Green had hoped it would — on the 18th green of Rich Harvest Farms at the NCAA Championship.
Although the Blue Devils were unable to claim their first national title, the team managed to accomplish everything they had prepared all year for. Claiming bragging rights in the ACC as this year's tournament champions, the program notched its eighth conference championship in one of the most challenging weekends in college golf.
With the victory, Duke also secured a bid to the Baton Rouge NCAA Regional, where they would go on to finish second in a field that featured a wide selection of talent.
