DURHAM, N.C. – For the state of North Carolina, the impact of Hurricane Florence is still being felt.
After collecting donations for more than two weeks, the Duke football program made a trip down the road to Wilmington, N.C., to deliver supplies to those who were facing difficulties following the hurricane. The Blue Devils' equipment truck was filled with supplies and took nearly three hours to unload all the items. Hurricane Florence dropped nearly 25 inches of rain in the Wilmington area.
Duke Athletics thanks all those who donated to the collection drive and made this delivery possible.
