CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.—Duke redshirt senior Conner Hartmann and sophomore Mitch Finesilver headlined day one of the 2016 Defense Soap & Flips Wrestling Southern Scuffle for the Blue Devils. The duo both posted a pair of victories to advance to the quarterfinal round Saturday.
Overall, seven Blue Devils advance to day two of wrestling with Hartmann and Finesilver remaining in the championship bracket at 197 and 149, respectively. Joining the pair are Zach Finesilver (141), Jake Faust (165), Brian Dorsey (174), Alec Schenk (174) and Brendan Walsh (285).
