RALEIGH, N.C. – The 14th-ranked Duke rowing team had a strong showing during the first day of the 2023 ACC Championship on Lake Wheeler in Raleigh, N.C.
The Blue Devils collected a pair of first-place finishes in their Second Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Four races, while placing second in the Third Varsity Eight, Varsity Eight and Varsity Four heats.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Third Varsity Eight opened the morning with a strong second-place finish, clocking a time of 06:52.578 to finish just 4.450 seconds behind front-runner Syracuse in their heat.
