DURHAM, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference and the Charlotte Knights have announced the 2020 ACC Baseball Championship will be held at BB&T Ballpark in Charlotte, N.C., May 19-24.
The announcement follows a year-long RFP process, facilitated by the ACC Baseball Committee and approved by the league's membership. Charlotte’s bid was submitted by the Charlotte Knights, Charlotte Sports Foundation, Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority and Visit Charlotte.
The Blue Devils have made 37 appearances in the ACC Baseball Championship, and owns a record 26-61 across the tournament. This past season, Duke went 1-1 across its appearance in the ACC Baseball Championship, claiming a 10-6 victory over Notre Dame before falling to Georgia Tech, 5-4, in the second game of pool play as the seventh overall seed.
