The Duke basketball team received a huge boost to its 2017 recruiting class today with a commitment from Trevon Duval, an elite point guard in the class.

A 6’3”, 190-pound guard from New Jersey who played his senior season at IMG Academy in Florida, Duval selected the Blue Devils from a list of five finalists that included Kansas, Arizona, Baylor, and Seton Hall.
The addition of Duval fills a major hole for Duke at the point guard position, a spot where the program has struggled since the departure of Tyus Jones following the 2015 national championship.
