DURHAM, N.C. – Fresh off a 2015 season that included a program-best seven NCAA qualifiers and concluded with a ninth-place team finish at the NCAA Fencing Championships, the Duke men’s and women’s fencing teams will look to improve upon their successes from a season ago, beginning with the Penn State Duals Saturday, Jan. 16, starting at 8:30 a.m. Both the men’s and women’s teams will match up against host-team Penn State, Yale, Haverford, Penn, North Carolina and Columbia, while the women will also compete against Temple.
“I think everybody is excited to go,” head coach Alex Beguinet said.
