DURHAM, N.C.— On July 9, 2001, Duke University Athletics hired Robbie Church as the second head coach for the Blue Devil women's soccer team.
When Church was hired, he commented that it was a lifelong dream of his to become a part of Duke University and its athletic tradition. Church has added many great memories in the Duke Athletics tradition and built the Blue Devils into a national powerhouse since his arrival 20 years ago.
