DURHAM, N.C. – With the 2019 collegiate fencing season in the books, a combined 10 Duke fencers garnered spots on the All-ACC Academic Men’s and Women’s Fencing Teams, as announced by the conference office Thursday.
Duke had the most selections out of four ACC fencing schools and the most in program history since fencing returned as a league-sponsored sport.
Four Blue Devil men earned the honor and six women as seniors Kristen Coury and Rhiannon Harvey, juniors Eoin Gronningsater and Jonathan Schwartzman, sophomores Ping Ping Kitsiriboon, Brycen Rushing, Julia Gianneschi and Maria Papadopoulos and freshmen Huda Aldadah and Zoe Superville rounded out the list.
