2019 five-star guard Wendell Moore (Concord, NC) revealed his top 10 finalists to Evan Daniels of 247sports this weekend, and the Duke Blue Devils were one of his finalists.
Moore is also still considering Wake Forest, UNC, NC State, Maryland, Florida State, Ohio State, Kansas, Washington, and South Carolina. However, Moore said Duke is one of five schools that are recruiting him the hardest.
I’d probably say Kansas, Wake Forest, South Carolina, Duke and UNC [are pursuing him the hardest]. ...
Duke same thing, they’re always going to be a good team. Coach K is one of the greatest coaches of all time and they have a great team this year with Marvin, Wendell, Trevon and all of them and they should go pretty deep in the Tournament this year.
Moore is hoping to make a decision before the end of spring.
Duke currently only has one 2019 commit in five-star small forward Joey Baker (Fayetteville, NC). Their 2018 class, which features three of the top eight prospects in the country (R.J. Barrett, Cameron Reddish, Tre Jones), ranks No. 3 in the country.
The 6-foot-5, 210-pounder is ranked as the No. 7 small forward and No. 25 overall prospect in the 2019 class.
