The Drake University women's tennis team continued competition at the Drake Invitational Saturday afternoon at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.
The day was capped by a Bulldog doubles team and single advancing to the title match of their respective consolation brackets. Both those matches will be contested Sunday during the final day of the three-day tournament.
In the 'A' Doubles consolation bracket, Drake's Carmen Palumbo and Maria Tatarnikova advanced to Sunday's final by defeating the UNI team of Zizek and Carr, 8-7, to start action Saturday.
Tartarnikova also had a successful day in singles action as she won a pair of matches in the 'B' Singles consolation bracket to move into Sunday's final.
