LINCOLN, Neb. – The Drake University women's tennis team split its pair of matches on Saturday at the Dillon Tennis Center, as the Bulldogs fell to host Nebraska, 4-0, before beating South Dakota, 4-0, to finish their day.
The Huskers managed to win courts one and three to earn the doubles point.
Despite losing in singles matches on courts one, four and six, the Bulldogs were ahead on courts three and five before they went unfinished. Sophomore Maddie Johnson was up a set and led in the second 2-1, while freshman Joely Lomas won the first set 6-3.
