The Drake University women's tennis team finishes the regular season Sunday with a Missouri Valley Conference match against Missouri State. The match is set to begin at 10 a.m. in the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.
The Bulldogs (8-7, 2-2 MVC) fell to two conference teams on the road this past weekend. They lost Saturday's match 4-3 to Bradley in which all three points were scored in singles competition. On Sunday, Illinois State performed as well if not better than anyone expected on their way to a 5-2 victory over the Bulldogs. From their impressive performance, Illinois State' Tijana Zlatanovic won singles player of the week and doubles player of the week alongside her teammate Tara Damnjanovic.
