DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Drake University women's tennis team defeated Illinois State, 4-3, Saturday morning at Roger Knapp Tennis Center.
The Bulldogs quickly took the lead after winning two of the three doubles matches to take home the point in doubles play.
Kelsey Neville was the first to finish their singles match. She defeated her opponent 6-0, 6-2.
Illinois State picked up three points in singles play.
The final point of the morning came down to a singles match between Ines Stephani and Alexandra Abyasova. The Redbirds took set one and Stephani took set two.
