ST. LOUIS, Missouri – The Drake University women's tennis picked up several post season awards, as announced by the Missouri Valley Conference April 21.
First year head coach Kristina Lott earned coach of the year after leading the Bulldogs to an undefeated conference season. Drake held a 13-6 record overall. Lott took over the program in August 2021 after serving as an assistant coach for two seasons. She helped lead the program to the 2021 MVC title.
Freshman Mille Haagensen earned MVC Freshman of the year after going undefeated in MVC singles play.
