The Drake University women's soccer team tied Illinois State, 0-0, in double-overtime Saturday afternoon in Normal, Ill.
The two teams went scoreless for 110 minutes. The Redbirds (4-10-2) out-shot the Bulldogs (6-5-5) 18-17 and 7-6 on goal. Drake received five corner kicks compared to ISU's two.
Illinois State's Sarah Lafayette attempted the first shot of the match in the eighth minute but was stopped by Drake keeper Kelsie Stone.
Stone recorded several key saves throughout her 110 minutes in the net, that kept the Redbirds scoreless. She ended the match with seven saves after facing 18 shots.
