DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University women's soccer team hosts Omaha at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at Cownie Soccer Complex.
The Bulldogs were victorious against Western Illinois in their last outing, earning a 1-0 result in Macomb. Redshirt senior Vanessa Kavan notched her first goal of the season in the 59th minute off an assist by Libby Helverson. Kavan and Helverson are tied for team-highs in goals (one), assists (two), and points (four).
Tuesday will be the seventh all-time meeting between Drake and Omaha. The series is knotted 3-3-0 with the Mavericks having won in Omaha, 2-1, in 2018.
