MANHATTAN, Kan. – The Drake University women's soccer team continues its season opening road trip at Kansas State Thursday night. The match with the Wildcats will kick at 7 p.m. and is the first of two road contests this week for Drake, which plays at South Dakota State Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
Last weekend, Drake (1-1-0) started the season with a split at the Montana Cup in Missoula, Mont. with a loss to San Francisco and a comeback win over Fresno State.
Freshman Alison Walls (Kansas City, Mo.), a forward, made an immediate impact in her first career game as she scored her first career goal just five minutes in of the season opener against San Francisco.
