The Drake women's soccer team's winning streak came to an end Thursday night at South Dakota 4-1.
The Coyotes' scoring run started in the second minute of play when Alexis Mitchell passed to Taylor Ravelo who scored and put South Dakota up 1-0.
Two minutes later, Taylor Cotter found Shaylee Gailus in the box and scored to put the Coyotes up 2-0. Gailus' goal was scored off a South Dakota corner kick.
The Bulldogs registered four shots in the first half but were unable to recover.
In the 24th minute, the Coyotes were awarded a corner kick that was taken by Abby Ostrem.
