OMAHA, Neb. – Freshman (Kansas City, Mo.) scored her second career goal for the Drake University women's soccer team in a 2-1 road loss at Omaha Wednesday, Sept. 19 night.
Omaha (3-6-1) scored a pair of first-half goals before Walls' goal late in the second half put Drake (3-7-0) on the scoreboard.
"We never really got started in the first half and that's a lot to ask of us this year to put two goals back to get in the game," said Drake head coach . "There was a great sense of belief after our goal that we could get back in the game, but I'm still convinced if we start the game with that mindset; a collective focus, sense of urgency, and pride in helping each other we can have an exciting MVC season.
