CHICAGO – The Drake University women's soccer team closes the 2016 regular season at Loyola Thursday night at 6 p.m. The match will be broadcast on The Valley on ESPN3.
Big stakes are on the line Thursday night in Chicago and in Springfield, Mo., where Missouri State will host Evansville. With a win over Loyola, Drake (11-4-2, 1-3-1 MVC will qualify for the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament. The Bulldogs can make the field if they draw with Loyola, but only if Missouri State loses or draws with Evansville. Drake can make the tournament, too, with a loss to Loyola, but Missouri State must also lose (Drake wins a two-way tiebreaker with Missouri State).
