OMAHA, Neb. - Two members of the Drake University women's golf team are on the top-10 of the leaderboard following the first day of the Creighton Classic at Oak Hills Country Club.
As a team, the Bulldogs carded a first-round 322 on the par-73 layout. UNI leads after the first day with a 303 while Creighton posted a 306.
Leading the Bulldogs were Kristen Giles and freshman Abby Marting. Giles is tied for fifth with a first-round 77 while Marting is tied for seventh with a 78.
Reilly Krohe also competed as an individual and is tied for 18th with an 82.
