NORMAL, Ill. – The Drake University women's basketball team rallied for a 65-58 road victory over Illinois State Friday night in Missouri Valley Conference at Redbird Arena.
Drake (13-7, 8-0 MVC), which fell behind by 12 points in the second quarter, was led by sophomore Becca Hittner (Urbandale, Iowa) who scored a team-high 18 points, including 13 points in the final two quarters along pulling down six rebounds. Redshirt sophomore Sara Rhine (Eldon, Mo.) added 16 points.
Senior Hannah Green paced Illinois State (8-11, 2-6 MVC) with a game-high 19 points.
