The Drake University women's basketball team heads to Indiana for its final road trip of the regular season. The Bulldogs are scheduled to play Evansville on Thursday March 3 at 6pm and Indiana State Saturday March 5 at 12pm.
The 15-12, 7-9 Bulldogs are heading east on a three game winning streak. The Bulldogs topped Illinois State 104-62 and then defeated Bradley 77-71.
Junior Megan Meyer earned Missouri Valley Conference Newcomer of the Week for her performance against the two teams. She averaged 20 points over the weekend, tying a career high 22 points with six made three pointers against Bradley.
