DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University women's basketball team has added Washington transfer Kierra Collier to the program, head coach Jennie Baranczyk announced today. Collier will sit out the 2018-19 season and have three seasons of eligibility starting with the 2019-20 season.
Collier, a 5-6 guard, played in 25 games with 14 starts for the Huskies in 2017-18. She averaged 6.6 points, 2.1 assists, 1.5 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game and earned Pac 12 All-Freshman Team honorable mention honors. Collier suffered a wrist injury in early January that limited her playing time for the next month before she was shut down for the season in mid-February.
