ST. LOUIS, Mo. – As the volleyball season continues to roll along, the weekly awards keep piling up for the Drake volleyball team. For the third time this season, graduate libero Jada Wills was named the Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the league on Monday.
Wills helped lead the Bulldogs to a 2-1 record last week and displayed her defensive skill set. In total she racked up 77 digs between Drake's three contests and set a new career-high with 45 digs against Bradley on Friday night. Wills ranks No. 1 not only in the MVC, but in the nation with 493 total digs during the 2024 campaign.
