DES MOINES, Iowa – Led by 17 kills from junior Kyla Inderski (Urbandale, Iowa), the Drake University volleyball team defeated Indiana State, 3-0, on Monday, Oct. 31, at the Knapp Center.
Inderski's 17 kills came on 32 attempts while Makena Schoene (Seattle, Wash.) added nine kills and Kameo Pope (Belle Plaine, Iowa) had eight kills along with seven blocks.
"Kyla had an amazing night," said Drake head coach . "But if you talked to her about her success, she'd talk about the middle blockers opening up the court and the setters for the great sets they were giving her.
