LEXINGTON, Ky. – Drake volleyball was included as one of over 1,400 collegiate and high school volleyball programs to collect the AVCA Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT. The Bulldogs earned this honor after maintaining a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
10 other Missouri Valley Conference volleyball programs earned the same award. The list of MVC honorees is included below.
Indiana State holds the longest current streak in Division I as a recipient of the award at 26 years. Southern Illinois has received the honor 19-straight years while Illinois State follows closely behind at 16-consecutive recognitions.
