The Drake University men's and women's track and field teams travel to Cedar Falls, Iowa, this weekend for the 2016 Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championships. The Bulldogs head to the UNI Dome having recorded 21 total performances in 17 events that currently rank in the top-10 in the MVC.
In the league's annual pre-championship poll, both the men's and women's teams were predicted to finish seventh. However, with six indoor meets and numerous personal bests and all-time top-10 performances to date, the Bulldogs are optimistic to continue that trend and climb up the Valley standings. Below are a handful of athletes poised to make contributions towards that goal for the Bulldogs.
