OTTAWA, Kan. - The Drake University track and field teams resumed their outdoor season on Saturday, April, 9, with the bulk of the team competing at the Ottawa Braves Invitational.
The Bulldogs took top honors in 12 events at the one-day meet and recorded a total of 43 top-5 finishes in the small field.
"With the off weekend last week, this meet was just what we needed to get back into competition mode," said Drake head coach Natasha Kaiser-Brown. "We faced some windy conditions, but the team looks to be in great shape and we're looking forward to the Jim Duncan Invitational next weekend.
