ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Drake University senior Reed Timmer (New Berlin, Wis.) has been named to the All-Missouri Valley Conference Men's Basketball first team, the conference announced Tuesday, Feb. 27.
Timmer's honor marks the first All-MVC First Team selection for Drake men's basketball since Josh Young during the 2009-10 season. This is the fourth consecutive year Timmer has been named All-MVC following a third team selection a year ago. Timmer was named honorable mention All-MVC following his sophomore season and was a member of the All-Freshman and All-Newcomer teams in his freshman campaign.
