Box Score CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The Drake University softball team collected a pair of victories on the second day of the 2016 UNI-Dome Classic. Drake (3-0) held on to beat Omaha, 5-4, and then rallied to defeat Montana, 7-5, at the UNI-Dome on Saturday morning.
Against the Mavericks, the Bulldogs trailed 2-0, before a five-run second inning put them up 5-2. Two of the runs came on a double by sophomore Kennedy Frank (Chesterfield, Mo.) and another on a run-scoring single by senior Ashlie Chambers (Ankeny, Iowa).
