DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University softball team has signed four high school standouts, Lauren Anderson (Boone, Iowa), Macy Johnson (Winterset, Iowa), Libby Ryan (Mount Vernon, Iowa) and Nicole Timmons (Davenport, Iowa) to National Letters of Intent for the 2018 season, head coach Rich Calvert announced.
"We feel the most important aspect in the recruiting process is finding quality student-athletes that represent Drake softball both on and off the field," Calvert said. "We have found that in this class, that will have big shoes to fill in replacing a strong senior class.
