The Drake University softball team heads to Terre Haute, Indiana to take on Indiana State on Friday April 15 with a doubleheader and then a single game on Saturday April 16.
The Bulldogs swept Bradley the previous weekend. Freshman third baseman Carey Koenig led the Bulldogs in batting average slugging percentage, and RBI's last week. She earned Valley Newcomer of the Week for her performance.
Pitcher Paige Bedsworth recorded her fourth career win after pitching all seven innings for the Bulldogs in their second game with the Braves. She recorded three strikeouts in the Bulldogs 6-2 win.
