DES MOINES, Iowa – It was a tale of two halves as the Drake women's soccer team came out in the second half with offensive intensity. The Bulldogs and Missouri State ended play in a 1-1 draw in Drake's Missouri Valley Conference home opener on Thursday night (Sept. 22). The tie snapped a three-game losing streak to the Bears. Drake is now 1-5-4 on the season while Missouri State's record goes to 4-4-3.
"Missouri State was a good side that had the majority of the chances in the first half," head coach Lindsey Horner said.
