Former Drake Bulldog Eric Saubert wrapped up the on-field portion of the Atlanta Falcons rookie minicamp over the weekend.
Falcons head coach Dan Quinn was surprised by Saubert's size when he first saw the 6-foot-5 and 253-pound tight end in person for the first-time last weekend. Saubert's speed also caught Quinn's attention.
"Number one, he's a little bigger than I thought," Quinn said of Saubert. "Sometimes, they are taller or bigger, however you feel. We knew he could run just based on times. Getting him acclimated into it today, I was pleased to see him over the last two days not only offensively but on teams.
