BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Drake University rowing team makes its first-ever trip to Buffalo, N.Y. for the Black Rock Cup Sunday hosted by Canisius College at the West Side Rowing Club. The Bulldogs will compete against fellow Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference members, the host Griffins and Robert Morris as well as Rochester Institute of Technology.
"We're very excited to see conference competition since we haven't raced any conference teams since spring break training," said head coach Charlie DiSilvestro. "It will be good to see how we stack up with two really good conference teams.
