OAK RIDGE, Tenn. – Drake rowing headed south to the SIRA (Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association) Championships April 15-16 and displayed improvement throughout the regatta. After the prelims on Saturday, April 15, the Bulldogs competed in three finals on Sunday, April 16.
"It was a really great regatta for the team," head coach Charlie DiSilvestro said. "We got faster as the regatta went on and we had our best race at the end of the regatta. We'll see some of the same teams at the MACRA Championships in two weeks so we can gauge our improvement there.
