The Basics
The Bulldogs will compete in the MAAC championship on Sunday, May 19, beginning at 1:50 p.m. The race will occur in Cooper River Park in Pennsauken Township, NJ, and Drake will race two varsity eights and one varsity four.

"We know the competition we're up against and the format is a seven-boat final, so we have to be ready to go from the first stroke to the last stroke, and they are ready. They understand what they're doing. We've had enough of these races this year where they had to race hard from the beginning because they didn't have a heat.
