DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University rowing team has added Ashley Haddock (Tigard, Ore.) and Emily Peck (St. Charles, Ill.) for the 2020-21 season, head coach Charlie DiSilvestro announced Thursday.
Haddock is a member of the Oregon Rowing Unlimited-PDX Rowing Club out of Portland, Ore., which is coached by Plamen Petrov and Nadia Petrova. She has rowed in several club boats that have claimed top-three finishes at multiple regattas the past two years.
"Ashley is our first west coast signee," said DiSilvestro. "Ashley impressed me with her level of commitment to academics and rowing as she wants to be successful at both.
