ST. LOUIS – Redshirt sophomore Sara Rhine (Eldon, Mo.) of the Drake University women's basketball team has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Week for the fourth time this season, the MVC announced Wednesday, Jan. 31 morning.
Rhine averaged 15.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 1.0 block per game while shooting 50.0 percent (9-of-18) from the floor and 80.0 percent (12-of-15) from the free throw line, to help Drake earn wins over Illinois State and Bradley.
Friday at Illinois State, she scored 16 points, going 5-of-11 from the floor and making 6-of-8 at the free throw line with four rebounds, two blocks and one assist.
