ST. LOUIS, MO. – A pair of Drake volleyball players earned Scholar-Athlete honors from the Missouri Valley Conference. Defensive standouts Kacie Rewerts and Jada Wills collected the academic award to add to the Bulldogs' successful 2022 campaign.
Rewerts, a 2021 First Team Scholar-Athlete honoree, was recognized for the second-consecutive season. She currently holds a 3.93 grade point average while studying Kinesiology. Rewerts is nearing the top 10 of Drake's all-time blocks list with 274. She also led the MVC this regular season with 138 total blocks and an average of 1.
