DES MOINES, Iowa – Drake juniors Kacie Rewerts and Jada Wills of the Bulldog volleyball team were both named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced earlier today.
Rewerts is a Kinesiology major from Nevada, Iowa with a 3.93 grade point average and a star front row defender for the Bulldogs. She is nearing the top 10 of Drake's all-time block assists list with 274 and leads the MVC this season with 138 total blocks and 1.37 blocks per set. Rewerts is tied for the most blocks in a three-set match in the conference this season with eight vs.
