The defending Missouri Valley Conference co-champions clash Tuesday night in the Knapp Center when the Drake University men's basketball team welcomes Loyola to campus. Tipoff between the reigning champions is set for 8 p.m. before a national television audience on CBS Sports Network.
Both teams earned matching 12-6 records a season ago to stand on top of the Valley standings. This season, Loyola is 2-0 in league play with wins over Valparaiso and Missouri State.
Drake evened its league record at 1-1 with an 80-76 win over Indiana State for the team's 12th-straight home win and fifth-straight league win in the Knapp Center.
