DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University football team used a quick start to propel past the Campbell Fighting Camels, 33-21, on Saturday afternoon at Drake Stadium.
Drake took advantage of two Campbell miscues to help jump out to a 17-0 first-quarter lead.
"We came out, started really well and we needed to do that because we haven't been doing that this year," said Drake head coach Rick Fox. "Whenever we are able to force turnovers its big and when we are able to take advantage of them that's even bigger.
