DES MOINES, Iowa - Drake University junior Emily Plock made history Saturday night in the Knapp Center during Drake's 3-2 loss to Loyola to end the season. Plock finished the night with 26 kills to set the Drake single-season kills record at 472 this season.
Her 26 kills, which were two shy of a career high, moved her well past the previous record of 463 set by Angela Bys in 2007.
Plock's historic night helped Drake (9-22, 3-15 MVC) recover from a 2-0 deficit to force a fifth set against Loyola (21-10, 14-4 MVC).
