ST. LOUIS, Missouri -- Drake women's basketball starting guard Maddie Petersen, earned Second Team Scholar Athletes honors, as announced by the Missouri Valley Conference Tuesday March 8.
Petersen, a graduate guard for the Bulldogs, earned First Team honors in 2021 and Second Team honors in 2020. She also earned All-MVC First Team honors in 2021 and was nominated for the prestigious national Senior CLASS Award.
She graduated in May 2021 with her bachelor's degree and currently maintains a 4.00 GPA as she works toward her master's in Business Administration, which she will complete in May 2022.
