WICHITA, Kan. – consistency and stellar second round highlighted day one of the Grier Jones Shocker Invitational hosted by Crestview Country Club Monday, Oct. 10. Drake men's golf is currently tied for third place in the tournament as a team (292-282-574), five strokes back of frontrunner Wichita State (569).
The weather was windy and rain was a factor for part of the day.
"We got off to a slow start this morning," head coach said. "I was very proud how the team bounced back in round two. Shayne had a spectacular second round as his putter got hot down the stretch.
