ST. LOUIS -- Brooke Mullins of Drake cross country was selected as the 2023 Missouri Valley Conference Women's Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the league announced on Wednesday, Nov. 8. Emilie Meyer and Carmen Krawczynski Gonzalez also earned spots on the MVC Women's Cross Country Scholar-Athlete team.
Brooke Mullins carries a 3.86 grade point average majoring in management & organizational leadership. She ran a 6k personal best and course record of 20:13.8 to be the first Drake women's cross country runner since Ashley Anklam in 2006 to win at the MVC Championships.
