Drake University starting women's basketball forward, Anna Miller, earned Newcomer of the Week, as announced by the Missouri Valley Conference on Monday Jan. 24.
The freshman recorded her seventh game this season scoring in double-digits when she ended the Bulldogs meeting with UNI with 16 points. She added eight rebounds, two assists, and two blocks to the books.
Her two blocks marked her seventh game in a row and 11th game this season recording one or more blocks. She ranks sixth in the Valley for most this season. '
The Bulldogs return to action Thursday as they take on Bradley in Illinois.
